Dataset: US Parcels

Description: The Parcel Data dataset includes the geographic representation of parcel boundaries. A parcel represents the spatial extent of the past, present and future rights and interests in real property. Parcels are not intended for legal purposes, but are useful for mapping real estate, land use, and Business Intelligence.

Collection Methodology: The parcel dataset contains approximately 80 million parcel boundaries from over 1,300 counties. The data are acquired from myriad tax mapping authorities, each with disparate format, projection, data model and highly varied usage/distribution policies. Data has been normalized to a standard format, structure and projection. Parcels are checked for accuracy, street alignment, projection, and more. Boundaries and APN are available.
