The NOAA Average Monthly Sunny Days dataset includes the average number of sunny days, clear days, partly cloudy days and cloudy days in each month in the United States.

Collection Methodology

Average number of days each cloud cover type (sunny, clear, partly cloudy, cloudy) was observed per month at NOAA weather stations, aggregated to state, county, census-designated places and ZIP level.
