Dataset: EPA Brownfields
- Description
The US EPA Brownfields dataset includes Brownfield site locations based on the US Environmental Protection Agency's Brownfield Sites Report. Brownfields are real property, the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant. Brownfield status generally means there are land use or development restrictions on the site. Attributes describe property assessment, clean-up requirements, the existence of specific contaminants and what has been contaminated (i.e., soil, air, ground water, etc).
